In Kansas, what laws are a 15 year old female and 17 year old male breaking if they have any kind of sex?

I would like to inform to people of that age, how much trouble they can get in. If any.

KANSAS (age of consent) 16

Kansas law prohibits various sexual scenarios, and has a special category
for sex with a person between 14 and 16. Adults breaching this criminal
sodomy section face harsh penalties, but Kansas lawmakers carved out some
breathing space for youthful miscreants, provided they are 18 or under, and
within four years of age of their consensual partner. Called the "Romeo and
Juliet" law, the provision limits the penalty for teen sex to 15 months in
jail, and does not require the perpetrator to register as a sex offender.
But the "Romeo and Juliet" law only applies to heterosexual teen-agers. Also
it is a felony for school employees to have consensual sexual contact with
students ages 16 or 17, even if it is only french-kissing.

Since he is not an adult yet and there is only a two year age difference there should be no problem, BUT if he turns 18 before the girl turns 16, then there can be problems. It also depends on the age of consent in Kansas. Not many states have the age of consent at 16.

Idc im not there wow 15 months over here it can be partly allowed and you would attend court only for both underage sex not advangte taking or oral pleasures or that kinda thing and you would not even serve unless it was rape and the girl was not willing (not statorury rape through) if it were rape the kid would be classed as a sex offending rapist and serve in a teen instrution centre (uk law)

America has stupid attiudes to sex ie too strict with no decent sex ed or contrception and daft ideas like expecting under 18s to abstain hence all the teen pregnancies and messed up kids.

16 is the age of concent in most countires... many have staggered ages ie a fifteen year old can have sex but only if guy is under 19...


With flexibility for things like maturity and if the older one is genuine, nice, shy, inexperienced or a jerk and player.

So your age group would sit fine with me but the law may have him arrested for statutory rape only this is unfair and wrong.

neither of you are "adults" so you shouldn't have sex... and if you don't know anything about laws, maybe you shouldn't be doing it either.
