If you are doing all the driving and he contributed toward the gas and now wants it back, tell him to get lost.

If he loaned you money expecting to be paid back, pay him back as soon as you can.

I Think you two need to sit down and discuss these issues before you marry.

If he's your fiance, that means you got engaged, correct? If you got engaged to spend the rest of your life with a person and have not discussed the very important subject of finances - who will pay for what, will bank accounts be joint or separate, who will be responsible for handling joint obligations, both parties knowing what the other is doing with their money and who has what assets and debts going in - you are very foolish. You need to discuss these things.

Until you are married - and please don't get married until you are both on the same page and in better shape financially - let him pay his own bills. How he handles himself now will be a good test of how well he will provide for a family later.
