Scott Boras has never helped anyone cheat like the others have. He's a player agent who happens to be incredibly good at his job, and he's never put a gun to anyone's head regarding the signing of his players.

Boras isn't my favorite guy, but the man is just doing his job. It's perfectly legal and follows all guidelines set by MLB, so there's no way he should be grouped with those others.

dimnd - When the "game was a game," the owners were essentially slave masters treating the players like chattle. The reserve clause that never ended, setting contracts at whatever they wanted, and trading players to poor teams if they complained - I don't think of that as the good old days.

BALCO affects the integrity of the game and has committed illegal acts. Boras is just greedy, but that's his job and is legal. Anderson is just a piece of the BALCO mess.
