It is a good idea to use brackets to clarify questions.
(100/5) x (- 4)
20 x (- 4)
- 80

100/5=20 20 x -4= -80
2 x -4= -8 -8 x -2= 16 (with this one when you multiply two negatives it equals a positive)

because of the communitive property of mulp the order you work the problem in doesnt matter.
same for the 2nd one = 16
2 * -4 = -8
-8*-2 = 16
-2*-4 = 8
8*2 = 16
Your like in 4th grade right? My kid did these last year.
