My fiance & I went shopping today & when I was trying on some shoes, he bought me a Jeopardy CD for my computer, & took it to the car & returned before I even knew what he was up to. When I got home, he handed the box to me. He knows how much I love Jeopardy, as I watch it nightly. He's so thoughtful. <3

Well, I work at the local school cafeteria with 4 others and my boss. When we got to work this morning, there at each of our work stations was a bag that another lady made for all of us. There was 2 orange, 2 black, and 2 yellow felt bags with handles. They were decorated for Halloween and were all filled with candy and each had a tag in it that had our names on it and a little note. None of the 6 bags were the same.
We all thought that was a very special thing that someone would do this for all of us.

Yes I had a medical driver pick me up from the hospital where
I had an appointment and he pushed me in a wheelchair,
through a full hospital wing, and take me down to the waiting
van. Normally my husband will push the wheelchair to the main entrance, and then I walk with my cane to the waiting
cab. So I was able to get out of the wheelchair and into the
van right away without having to walk. So my hubby, who's
my 'attendant' only had to put my things in the back seat with
him. He had to walk really fast to keep up with the driver who
was a young man. He normally will push me slow since he
doesn't walk fast anymore.
Earlier he treated me to one of the burgers in the hospital
cafeteria, that I always enjoy but don't always have when I
have to go there. So it's like a special treat when I can have
one. I'm supposed to watch my salt intake now, and we all
know that beef isn't the best for someone with heart trouble.
So that's also why it was a special treat, after having to eat
more bland at home. So I enjoyed every bite LOL.

I am still recuperating from my knee surgery and go to physical therapy 3 times a week plus all of the exercises I must do at home daily. eeeeeekkkkk! My daughter Angela
came over and went to PT with me . When we got back she waited on me hand and foot and made me a big pot of her yummy potato soup for tonight and tomorrow so I won't have to cook. She also walked the dogs for me and did my laundry before she left. My 4 children are so wonderful to me and treat me like a queen. I love them so.....

My husband took over the household duties 5 years ago, that I always enjoyed doing and can no longer do.
So, thankfully he is doing something really special for me everyday without ever complaining.
He is the light of my life and makes life worth living.

Sounds like you have a very sweet man there, Shortstuff....a true keeper! Two simple but nice things happened today...received a nice little note from Kayboff, and later tonight when my grandaughter was leaving, she turned around and came back and gave me a second big hug...just because. That's as good as it can get!

Yesterday after my new neighbor took me up on my offer for her to do her laundry here instead of walking the lot to the laundry room, she later put a plate of dinner in my hand. [For Halloween, her son-in-law once built a shelf across his shoulders, put an ashtray on one side, a box of condoms on the other, and a lampshade on his head. He was a OneNightStand.]

it's the little things that mean a lot.

My husband vacuumed the whole house and took out the garbage and did the laundry stacked up. But he said he left the dishes for me. I dont mind it feels good on the arthritis.

My husband made coffee and brought it to me in bed after letting me sleep in until 9 am. He took care of our adolescent and sent her to school, fed the animals and made sure I wasn't disturbed. I felt like a queen and it wasn't even Mothers Day or my birthday. Then he took me out to brunch.

I enjoyed a halloween party with my little grandson at his school. My husband treated me this evening by taking me out to dinner. I call those "rays of sunshine". I now seek them every day - just a little ray every single day.
