My son 18 mths burned his forearm on the underside between his wrist and his elbow about 3 weeks ago on our woodstove! :( Now, 3 weeks later, it has healed SO well so fast. However last night I noticed that a small blood blister has formed where the worst part of his burn was! This morning it was larger! It is only on the burned are, and only 1/4 of the area of the burned area which is about 1.5 in in diameter. Does anyone know why this has happened? I am going to go to the doctor here in a bit, however I was just wondering if there was anyone else whom as experienced the same situation before, and if so what they did!? Any comments very appriciated!!!!!!! Thank you :)

Wendy, this could be what is called a "cherry angioma"; a cluster of blood vessles that are forming in the scar tissue. Best advice I can offer is to consult your doctor.
