One of the top 5 largest market teams
1. Red Sox
2. Mets
3. Dodgers
4. Mariners
5. Cubs

These are the only teams that can afford him.

An American league team so he can DH later in his career, one with a hitter friendly ballpark, and a team that can afford his $300 million ten year contract. Sounds like the Angels to me.

The Cubs or Red Sox are the likely candidates. They are the only teams that can afford him and both could find a spot for him, though the Cubs definitely have more of a hole to fill at SS.

As a Dodgers fan, I would love for him to be a Dodger. But Colletti seems happy about his third base guys Nomar, who collapses at midseason, and LaRoche, who consistently bats at low 200s. Colletti even traded Betemit, who bats better than those two.

boston wont, they want lowell... my guess if cubs can afford him he will go there. if no, possibly angels.. who knows. maybe no one will want to pay him that much money and boras will be calling cashmen begging him to take a-rod for a cheaper price.... that will never happend. lol
