I do both. All depending on the weather. If it is warm outside I don't mind washing my car, but if it is chilly I'm more than glad to pay someone else to do it.

when i had a car id wash it myself,but i treated myself to the car wash+attendants and they did an average job,and stole my toolbox,my dad gave me..they said it wasnt in there,and being a girl they couldnt understand why id have one.mungrels..my daughter does her own at those carwashes..cheers

I always wash my own car..(thanks for the reminder, btw..)
The few times I took it to a wash for someone else to clean, those little scrounges stole everything except my CD's.

Carwashers I've gone to are either automated or "do-it-yourself".
