Latitude gives the location of a place on Earth north or south of the equator. Lines of Latitude are the horizontal lines shown running east-to-west on maps.

There is no way to determine the distance between two cities given just the Latitude. They could be due north and south from each other or they could be on the opposite sides of the world, or anywhere in between.

angular separation is 34 degrees 31 min - 22 degrees 17 minuites. = 12 degrees 14 mintes (12.2333333.....degrees).
Circumference of a circle = 2 x pi x r
length of arc of circle = 2 x pi x r x angle/360
pi = 3.1414......
r = 3955 miles
angle = 12.2333333...... degrees.

Hence
Length of arc(distance between cities) =
2 x 3.1414 x 3955 x 12.23333333..../360 =
844.439513 miles
Approx. 844.44 miles
