I was really good at Algebra and had fun in this class because of a very good teacher. Geometry didn't like me so well. I actually dropped out of the class and took some other business subjects instead. They are quite different...as different as say, Astrology and Astronomy.

Algebra by far. No matter what, I could follow a formula, plug the answer back into the original equation and see if I got the answer right. I always got A's in this class. Geometry always screwed me up. Those proofs I had to write out. If I messed up on one theory, I screwed up the entire proof. I got low B's and C's in this class.

Algebra, I'm good at Geometry except when it comes to construction and using a compass. Adding and subtracting numbers and crap like that is basically all algebra really is and that's really easy.

I'm probably better at Algebra. :-) I like it better because I didn't have a traumatic experience with it. [My geometry teacher taught geometry like he was the only one in the room. I used to sit in the middle in the front row and still couldn't hear what he was saying! And he tried to fail the whole class, too. ]

Algebra. It made sense. If you found the right number to plug into the equation, you could work it backwards and make sure your answer was right. Geometry went right over my head.
