no it wont ... you need to be fitting a velux roof window .. these are made purposley for what you require

No it WILL leak, you can have a Upvc units and doors have drain holes so as water drains out from the window sill or frame. If you lay it flat the water will drain in to the room bellow.

No because the seals are not meant for the door to be fitted in the way. I suggest you contact a double glazing manufacturer and let them advise you on a suitable product.

No.

Water runs down past the glass and drains out through a hole at the bottom. A flat door will have a "pond" on it thast wil drain into the house.
