A volcano would be a release of magma through a break or crack in the earth's crust. An earthquake is simply a sharp movement of the earth's crust.

A volcano is a magma chamber inside Earth erupting, an Earthquack is a duck on this planet using linguistic skills, and an Earthquake is vibrations caused by plates in Earth coming in contact with each other.
