Olson, a 24-year-old St. Olaf College graduate, was found dead in the trunk of her car late Friday night. She was last seen by friends on Thursday morning, when she went to meet someone in Savage, Minn., about the job, which authorities said she had found on Craigslist.

I've never used the site but I have looked at it. It seems very generic and fake. I've heard about people setting up robberies by placing ads and prostitiution. I mean what's up with it? Just curious to know what your experience has been?

Yes. I've used this site in the past to sell a product with no problem.

Always be online smart. Craiglist is a free site so cautious, and safe about things that are posted or even meeting anyone from there after all its free postings and it invites everyone.

Should we ban the subway because people get mugged there ,, should we close all parks because people get robbed there. We need to watch out for ourselves. Please give more details about what happened perhaps she did have a job interview and was killed by someone totaly unrelated to the interview. Not craiglist fault.

I sell things on craigslist and that's it..people should never go out with someone they have talked too on a computer unless they know eachother..There are so many fakes on here.

Obviously you need to be cautious with anything involving on-line sites. However, I have bought and sold furniture on craigslist with no problems.
