I don't think so. It is as bad as wearing black shoes with light brown trousers...unless of course your shirt is black which also I wouldn't do with light brown trousers.

It's ok, but be sure to check if the belt is to thick in size for the style of trousers. Black is a versatile color so it will go with light brown, however, it's not the color to be too concerned, it's more the style belt with the style type trouser.

Well, a dark brown belt would certainly look better, but I'd say a black leather belt always says, "Business" even on a light brown trouser.

oh yes, u would look rather classy if u teamed it up with black leather shoes and a crisp white or black shirt. or even a brown-checked shirt.

for a more casual look, wear a t-shirt in place of the shirt.. in the color that matches your pants, ... anything from navy blue, dark brown, red and dark blue stripes, ......

Tan brown would be great, a darker brown does no longer bypass with black, yet because it quite is that sounds advantageous to me. Tan brown is fairly widespread on the 2nd besides so i think of you will discover it is going to artwork with maximum issues.
