I can't get my browser to communicate with my Internet connection? It was working just days ago????

I'm using Opera and/or Firefox and running Windows XP...

Check your modem and router. Try unplugging the power to both for 30 seconds or so and then plug them back in.

I am having exactly the same problem. I use Opera. Mine was also working a few days ago. Reinstalled but it did not help.

Ha ha i got it! In Opera press F12 on your keyboard, a menu will come up. Deselect "enable proxy servers". I think disabling proxy will work for firefox as well
