Hey come on, guys. This is a legitimate question. If you don't like the vehicle the guy's asking about keep you're opinion to you're selves!
PRIMARY COIL NOT REACHING PEAK means you have a problem with the coil. The controller monitors the circuit with how much voltage the primary side uses. It has to stay in a certain range. If it goes out of range, it gives a fault code. If you disconnect the wire harness at the coil you will get a code like PRIMARY CIRCUIT VOLTAGE TO HIGH. You're problem could be that the plugs and/or plug wires needed replacing and the high secondary voltage started backing up and spiking the primary side of the coil. Once the secondary voltage is produced it has to discharge somewheres. It's going to take the easiest way to a ground. At the spark plugs or in the coil.

NOT TO SOUND DISRESPECTFUL BUT IF THE VEHICLE IS STILL RUNNING YOU NEED TO SELL IT NOW.

IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY HEARD THE 2.7 ENGINE IS THE WORSE ENGINE EVERY BUILT AND WHEN IT LOCKS AND IT WILL, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO KNOW THE PRICE TO REPLACE IT.

AS FOR THE QUESTION, IT IS MOST LIKELY A BAD COIL PACK THAT IS BAD.
