I am talking about survival of the fittest (in our siciety the fittest are the richest). Are we trying to kill off poor people? I'm not saying I agree or disagree - I'm asking.

Yes, I do believe the argument is a modern day example of social darwinism.

I don't think we are trying to kill off all the poor people, we just make it near impossible to live and eventually they die off. This applies especially to the ones that are Caucasians and sick already.. The government seems to have all kinds of programs to help minorities, and other countries, but little is available for Caucasians born here unless they are minors.. .If you don't believe me, try to get some some assistance as a US born Caucasian when you are too sick to work.. Or submit an application for health insurance, and put down that you have something wrong with you.. .

Rich equals fit? have you seen the specter trial, Or how about the headlines from brittney to vick...Money does not help all that much..if it did, then where have all the dead millionaires gone? Mostly poorer people have LESS access to medical care...diagnostics...and treatment...but as a whole they are far happier , based on their sheer numbers alone. And face it we are ALL going to die someday...I see our health care policy as cost versus benifit ratio of about 30-70 and I mean 70 for cost to 30 for benifit...Choose to say no and live to 85 choose to pay and lights out at 33...It is a BUSINESS!!!

I think that the policy on health care is based on our constitution: the one where everyone is guaranteed the right to pursue happiness, but not guaranteed to capture it...nor guaranteed that someone else will buy it for you.

If anything, on and incidental note, it will weed out the lazy...those unwilling to work and pay for it.

If so, there's going to be a lot fewer neoconservatives in a few years.

I doubt it. We have social programs for those who don't earn enough money.
