My favorite quote this year is:

"Profanity is the crutch of the inarticulate ************".

I don't know who it's by, but I read it somewhere months ago and it stuck in my head. It's a great reminder that, when I'm angry and I want to fling my shoe at someone and cuss them out from here to eternity, I need to calm down and find a better way of expressing myself.

The thing to remember is that that the future comes one day at a time.
- Dean Acheson

I just like this one, makes me realise that everyday has to be made special in some way. Even if its some as simple laughing with your friends or children

Well my favorite quote is from a TV show Living Single
by Max (Erica Alexander)
"It's not revenge its pre-venge.......getting to them before they get to you!" I like it because that's how we sometimes feel in relationships. If you think someone is messing around on you you want to beat them to the punch. It's not right but I think everyone feels it from time to time and it doesn't always have to be in personal relationships. It could be with your family, friends, co-workers etc.

Trying to find happiness is like trying to catch a butterfly. The more you chase it the more it eludes you....but if you quit chasing it and you are still, sometime it will land right on you.

I don't know who wrote it but is the one quote that always sticks with me.

the serenity prayer
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things i cannot change ,
Courge to change the things i can,
And the wisdom to know the difference
This is out of the AL-Anon book
Why i like it becouse i use it when i get frustrated or having a bad day so i say that serenity prayer & hand it over to my higher power
or i use this one live and let live reminding me that i am powerless over other pepole

Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

and

Here’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see: “We are the proud parents of a child who’s self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn’t need us promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of our car.”

Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.
--Kurt Cobain

i like it because it says that individuality is a good thing, and that's something we don't get much of anymore. too many people are becoming carbon copies of each other. it's really sad.

"Be sure you're right, then go ahead."--attributed to Davey Crockett. I like it because that's the way I am. If I believe I'm right, I don't back down.
