No.

Really, "worst Series ever" pretty much belongs to 1919 by default, since most of one team didn't even try to win four of the games.

This was definitely the worst WS ever. I've been watching the WS since Baltimore played Pittsburgh in 1971. I thought it was bad in 2005 when my team, the Astros completely collapsed in the WS, but even they weren't as lousy as Colorado was in this one. I've noticed a disturbing trend in recent years though concerning the WS. I think that because of the outrageous scheduling and baseball's being slaves to the TV networks that we're having more and more WS's where only one team shows up. 3 out of 4 years in a row now where the World Series was a sweep and Detroit just missed getting swept last year. One good thing about Boston finally having two championship years in the last four.....at least we can finally stop hearing them whining about the curse of Babe Ruth. The only bad thing is we still have to listen to those Cubs yahoos whining about their so called curse every summer.

I belive that ratings wise this was one of the best in recent memory. Especially since the RED SOX became the highest drawing team in baseball this year and the ROCKIES had an amazing run at the end; the attraction was irresistible.

It even turned Rudy Giuliani over from the dark side into a RED SOX fan...now that's power!!!

It was a good one. I especially loved the last at bat (out) for the Rockies. - A former Mississippi State player, Papelbon, pitching for the Red Sox at to bat is a fomerr Ole Miss player, Seth Smith, and he is struck out. This is like a sweet victory for any Mississippi State Fan.

It was a good Series for some other not. But as a fan of the game you have to like it.

No, this world series was great. The Rockies finally made one and the Red Sox made another one after so much difficulty. Coming into it, the Rockies were 21 of their last 22. To say the least, this was much better than last year.

No!

I think it was great -therefore i am a sox fan.

Although there wasnt much tension because of the sox's game after game lead, it was still a great well deserved and developed world series! i am so happy for the team + all their hard work and dedication...they truly deserve it...and stop hating on the red sox or i will start hating on the rockies. dont be sore losers. be happy for the team that won because they TRULY deserve it!!!!!

Yes, but it was at least the Rockies run made the postseason somewhat exciting.
