Ovulation after being on the pill....?

So I had a HSG (dye test) done to see if my tubes were blocked.. they are not (thank goodness) The question I have is, that the Dr put me on birth control pills last week, so that I would not ovulate while having this procedure done... I only took the pills for a week and stopped them last Thursday. (today is Monday) I am spotting, which I knew would happen. I was just wondering if there is a chance that I will ovulate after this? Or is this not considered a "period". Just wanted to see if anyone else has been through this.

Yes, there is a possible chance that you will still ovulate but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
