So I'm in the computer lab and my computer doesn't have internet, so I stole my friends when he got up. Should I let him have it back even though he doesn't really need it either?

You could have just asked previously if he wasn't using the computer for the Internet and you needed the net. I'm pretty sure he would be cool with it if he is your 'friend'
