in negative votes on yahoo answers? I have heard that ppl are making up accounts and going in and voting bad on everyone but themselves...this is hilarious. I can't believe someone was actually take the time to do that....Has anyone else noticed this?

I have seen people create accounts to pad their points. Normally other people have pointed it out and I have noticed it too. That seems like a lot of trouble just to get to the next level. Some people get so caught up in the point system......there just points people. It's not money!

I definitely noticed that too..... Some poor girl got a thumbs down just for answering a question asking "What's your dogs name" . I got one for answering a question that was asking "What is the one thing you would never give up" I answered "my kids" and some slob gave me a thumbs down. Go figure. People can be soooo small minded.

I have indeed. And this is a classic example of why everyone hate Americans. We're spoiled, pampered , sheltered, selfish, corrupted species with no morals and compassion.
At least that's how the rest of the world view us. And the self-
serving, brain-dead, heartless jerks who pull stunts such as these tend to prove their theory. Peace.

To me, it's always the same. Remember, after 3:30 EDT the wanna be teenagers get home from school (trolls). I usually sign off from now until 7:00 PM-every day.

i have gotten some negative votes on some of what i thought were great answers. but i don't know. i haven't heard anything like that. does someone giving you a thumbs down effect you at all?

yep. and i can believe it. some people just really don't have lives, unfortunately. however, when i catch this being done (which, it's really not so difficult to tell who was giving the negative votes since their votes usually don't have a rating yet) i try and give everyone a positive rating that this has happened to.

No but I have noticed a lot of idiots using dummy accounts to be stupid for no reason...guess some people just have nothing better to do!
