Yes because they are stealing land that doesn't belong to them and denying palestinians the right to their land.

America's protection of israel is why we are having the problems with the Middle east now.

Israel is responsible for our countries lack of respect in this world, at what point do they stand up for themselves.

No is a theocracy - the political parities constituting the government are all subject to Jewish religious authority. Any moderate voice is drowned out by the zealots.

It is also an aggressive militaristic state who with US funding is actively occupying and subjecting a large area and population surrounding its legitimate borders, and it has moved and occupied a city on its frontier, as its capital, which is not recognised by the worlds other governments, so you have the ridiculous situation of the seat of government is miles inland at Jerusalem, and the international embassies are all located in Tel Aviv.

The problem, cancer in the Middle-east stems from the fact that Israel is supported by huge US dollar sums to maintain its occupation of Palestine. That wondeful laterial thinker, Edward de Bono in 2000 - advised a U.K Foreign Office committee that the Arab-Israeli conflict might be due, in part, to low levels of zinc found in people who eat unleavened bread, a known side-effect of which is aggression. He suggested shipping out jars of Marmite to compensate.

Marmite is a love-hate product, you would simply replace sectarian violence with the marmite wars! I think that the Jews should have been settled in 1948 in Ulster, that would have made for an interesting history?

Israel is a little like Nazi Germany, They are arrogant, they are well armed and they like to ignore the rest of the world, and until the massive money from america is removed, they will continue to bully thier neighbours. They don't terrorise, they occupy, they are the majority.

However - they force the Palesinians into extreme acts to demonstrate - thus they are the catylist for terroism. Only a desperate person will strap a bomb onto thier self, Israel is denying the Palestinians thier voice, they are unfortunatly reaping the seeds they have sown, and I don't see an easy soloution.

The Palestianians are caught between a rock and a hard place, most of Israels neighbours don't want them, they just give a little lip service to have a go at Israel. However, they do need the wealthy Isralie's for employment. But Israel is too insecure to trust even the Arabs who have choosen to accept isralie passports, with the vote, so there is little hope that they will get peace from the ones they have bullied for 50 years.

Well it is not a terrorist state in that its army is recognized by the UN. However, many of its military actions and its treatment of the original inhabitants of Palestine and the Gaza strip are pretty terrible (refugee camps, attacking civilians). The reason why Israel is generally not considered a terrorist state is that it has many very strong PR watchdog groups that do not allow Israel to be made to look bad in the US and European media. Also, generally the US has supported Israel militarily. We generally only define armies which do not have the support of the US or UN as terrorist states regardless of their actions. However, atrocities have occurred at the hands of the Israeli army. Specifically the massacres of Palestinians at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps have created outrage in many in the international community over the military actions of Israel. I would suggest looking into these cases and deciding for yourself.

I'd say so.

The only reason Osama and the other terrorist group hate us, the U.S. of A., is because we back Israel. We should just have all the Jews move into Germany and let the Palestinians have their land back. That'd be the first step toward World Peace.

Yes. Read the history of Israel and its constant invasions of its neighbouring states and you will find that this is true. If you analyse the Bible's Old Testament / the first books of the Torah then you will see that Israel as the present Zionist governments see it did not exist at all except for a brief period over three thousand years ago and that brief period was very brief indeed (something like eighty years). As a Christian it is like stating that we need to annexe large areas of southern Lebanon, Syria and Jordan to turn it in to Eden.

No in my mind there is very little difference between Israel launching a preemptive or defending her self and say the US launching strikes into Iraq prior to the invasion without UN approval

No.

It is not.

There are extremeists there, just as there are in the USA.

They are defending themselves from the Arab attacks on their state. I support Isreal's right to exist.
