A) False. There could be isotopes of either argon or chlorine that would make both have equal numbers of neutrons. Argon - 17 is an isotope of argon that has the same number of neutrons as Chlorine - 17.
B) False. Argon is a Noble Gas which means it is inert (highly non-reactive).
C) False. Again, argon is a Noble Gas - it does not have a strong tendency to lose electrons while Chlorine has a very strong tendency to ionize.
D) True - Chlorine is a halogen and is highly reactive.
E) False - See (A).
