Why is it that the rich girl has alot of friends and not the poor boy?

Why is it that the rich girl (her name is Megan) has alot of friends and not the poor boy (his name is Rolando)? I personally think that Rolando treats his friends alot better and he cares for his friends alot more, plus he does worry about the little things they do and he tries to look out for them, plus he also gets wound up and hyperactive quite easily

As for Megan she is more easygoing, laid back and doesn't worry out of the little things, however she is kind of snobby and stuck up and is a bit big headed, Megan is only friends with the wealthy people and her lifestyle hasn't changed since high school

Rolando has a learning disability and Megan doesn't, personally I do believe that Rolando is a better friend for his friends than Megan ever was but alot of times people snub Rolando off cause of his learning disability and how wound up and hyperactive he gets, of course there are alot of people who doesn't like Megan cause of how snobby and stuck up she is.

I've never seen anybody care so much for their friends the way Rolando does.

People like this girl Megan act like anyone who doesnt have what she's got is beneath her. That's why eventually when her snottiness gets old and tired she'll see clearly that nobody is going to want to deal with someone who can't treat people equally. Only fake and phony people act like Megan, and Rolondo obviously grew up understanding that people are true to you when it doesnt revolve around money and materialistic things. I dealt with a girl like Megan and as a result of her stuck up and shady behavior she doesnt have a lot of friends since many of them dropped her when they got tired of her acting like she's better than everyone since she's made discerning remarks about people who have very little are beneath her.

I'm pretty much next to poor and i have a lot of good friends. Just tell rolando to be more outgoing and fun, as well as laid back and a good listener. People are friends with megan because they want to be popular like her... not because they like her. Rolando will end up on top some day

well people in this world are sooo very cruel!!
megan thinks she has these friends and thinks that they are there for her,but when she becomes broke you will see her rich little sl** rich friends walk away from her. inside she really doesnt have friends.
as for Rolando, i would deffintely be his friend. i have a friend with a disability and i could ask for a better one. see, the way i look at it is that Rolando is rich, because he is laughing and having a fun time even when he does have a disbalilty. GO ROLANDO!

Skippy say you tend to surround yourself with people you want to be like and people that can offer you something. You are also judged by the people you hang around. In other words, you are only as good as the people you call your friends. If you hang out with "losers", you too are going to be treated like a loser. Some poor person with a learning disability might be nice, but other than that, what does he offer. Hes most likely not going to go on to college and become a high paid professional member of society. Some of the friends you have when young, are going to be your business partners when you are an adult.
Now, no one is saying you shouldnt be nice to rolando, but skippy can see why not many people hang out with him. Basically, they dont want to be brought down to his lower level.

Don't worry too much about it. Is their lost. Money and material things are temporary, comes and goes; but what you have inside lives forever... So, go on, "do not care" about what others think or do, just occupy that time positively to do things positives for yourself and for those that really care for you, same as that poor boy.
History keeps repeating over and over and shows us time and time again that "that poor boy or girl" makes it big in life.
Most famous people, including geniuses, were outcasts, loners, shunt for one reason or for another by people, specially the rich kids...

meagan probably doesn't have many "true" friends.
mainly people that use her, or just pretend to be
popular. she probably snubs people off because she's
insecure with herself and has to put other people down to
make herself happy.
friendship is more about quality than quanity.
eventually people will get tired of meagan's act
and will appreciate rolando for the good friend he is.
