69ers, buffalos,dolfins.galaxy etc wats the point of having all those stupid names after your city? makes it sound babyish!

If you don't know the history of the cities, or anything about the United States, you won't understand a lot of the references involved in the names.
Since you're just trying to make fun of the game, I won't go through the trouble of explaining certain names for you - since doing so would do no good anyway.
Interesting that you'd be here wasting your time in a section about a game you think sucks. Nice life you have.

Sorry we dont just slap "united" or "FC" after the name of the city where our teams play. How exciting would it be to see the New York United play against the Boston United? Not very.

sometimes you people can be so mean and nasty! I think our names say something about who we are or where we are from. we "yanks" have a better sense of humor,a better system of government,and better names for things. A boot? for trunk,a bumbershoot for umbrella,a mac for a raincoat,chips for french fries,a sarni for sandwich,I could go on all day, oh ya, pie hole for mouth, oh thats dandy!!!!
