NO, I get a physical every year and dental cleaning every six months. Even when I did not have dental insurance a few years back, I coughed up the bucks. I have seen too many people say, Oh it's probably nothing, and then get WAY behind the eight ball with no options.

Yes. It's mostly cost related. I learned the hard way by avoiding the dentist for years because I didn't want to pay for simple fillings. I'm now looking at thousands of dollars worth of root canals and bridge work.
