There is always a shell around a person from the minute they are born. What will happen is an event that will change you forever. You may be in an accident that will make you realize what you need in your life. Many near death experiences have done that to people. You may also may find someone in your life that can show you who you are. Love is a very powerful thing and people can show you who you are. Love can also make you want to be a better person and will show you whats important. Friends are important as well. Some will die for each other and do anything. These are the people that know what is important to them. Finally money is a big one. Money can make or break a lifetime. Maybe you are in a job that makes a lot of money but you just aren't happy with where you are. Maybe you know you can do better but you just don't want to try. Wait for it and someday the answers will fall into your lap.

I stopped accepting others perceptions of me to start with. I spent time doing some soul searching and deciding what my values and core beliefs are. I learned to trust my own judgment.
