I was wondering if it is illegal to replace a factory steering wheel W/Airbag with a aftermarket steering wheel?????

Not illegal, but the airbag system warning kight will be on

I'd rather have the airbag crash protection myself and recommend you not think twice, but three times before modifying the original equipment airbag installation on your vehicle.

No you can use any steering you like as long as it is safe to use .
