Ladies, what could this be?

My wife and I noticed a thick white/milky fluid come out of her vagina during/after intercourse. What could this be?

Discharge from the vagina is normal and can happen throughout the day as well. Because of the thickness of it it could mean her period is coming soon, but I would recommend that she check with her doctor as well to see what they say.
