It looks like you have been given some great advice and sites to check out. I just want to repeat that you shouldn't have to pay to join any of the sites. You need to be honest and provide your honest information. If they find out you were lying, they will hold your payments, consider you a frauder and not allow you to use their site.

I use survey sites, but I find the best paying sites are those that pay you to complete offers. Because telemarketers are basically extinct in the US, companies need to find a new way to contact individuals. Get Paid To or GPT sites allow them this opportunity.

I am a member of SwatCash and have made over $70 and will be paid more than $30 more this month. Another site I love is Moola where I have been paid $10 and have over $60 balance in my account. I have proof of payment in my blog. If you are interested, please look at my blog (listed in my profile) and look at the various sites that have helped me make some extra money. :)

Another thing I should mention is that I have been paid for mystery shopping. That might be something else you want to consider to help bring in a little extra cash. Sometimes they pay for your meals, gas, eye glasses, whatever they need shopped. I also have some of those sites listed in my blog.

Good luck. (And be careful, there are a lot of people out there, jsut preying on people looking to make money online) Do your research and make sure the sites are legitimate and not scams. Try sites like gptboycott.com or the scam section in marketingpond.com

I've always wondered the same question. I signed up once but it's a long process, I can't even lie. I still haven't finished it because it was too much for so I just stopped before starting (lol). Anyway, if you're interested in taking online surveys to get paid, just type in "Online Paid Surveys" in the search bar @ Yahoo! or Google and different websites will show up. In order to find out how much they pay and if they're legit, you'll have to visit the website and read about it. Well, hope this information was somewhat helpful. With that said, good luck with that. Take care =)

Yes, it's true.

I don't really think you'll be able to make much, over a long time I've got money doing this but it's not that much.

Ciao.co.uk - when you register they email you surveys every so often and it will tell you in the subject how much its worth. The problem is sometimes that you will not fit their criteria, you wont complete the whole survey and wont get paid.

I have been paid from Ciao before and got the money.

BTW, You can also write reviews for pretty much any product and people rate them and you get money for doing that.

The only legitimate website where I have been paid for surveys is My Survey. However, it won't net you instant cash. You fill out surveys for points and for every 1000 points you earn, you can get $10. Or you can use your points to "purchase" raffle tickets for prizes. I had received at least 3 $20 checks from them in the past. I've never found a legitimate survey site that paid enough money that it can replace a part-time job or supplement your current income. Another website that I signed up with was goZing. They pay you within 8 weeks of completing a survey and you can earn up to $10 for one survey. They pay you into a paypal account. However, for the big money surveys, you have to get into them almost as soon as you receive the email because they close quickly. They usually direct you to OXT which is a legitimate survey site that I have seen with many other websites that do minor surveys. I think I netted around $70 around a two year period.

Whatever you do, don't sign up for survey sites that are advertised on work-at-home sites because they are not work at home jobs. And NEVER sign up for a survey site that promises $50+ surveys if you pay for membership. It won't happen.

You might do studies rather than surveys. My mom goes and gets a patch on her shoulder every week. After 8 visits they will pay her 150.00. The visits only last 20 min too. She has been doing this for a year. Different studies pay different amounts. Look through the craigslist or newspaper to find paid studies. Here is an example of one of these companies.

Surveys don't pay much when you do find a legit company and they take so long to complete for such little pay.

i tried this and never qualified for any surveys. It was just a waste of time filling out all the paperwork and getting nothing. Try being a secret shopper. You can get $, free meals, free stuff it all depends on the store. You don't really get alot of money but most places take 10-15 to complete!

i found out the hard way that it's just not true. most of the ones that are easy only give u a few cents at a time and then the ones with dollar amounts require you to go on another site and sign up for offers that usually require a trial membership or require you to pay money to them. The rest of the time, you will not qualify for most of the survey's offered. don't do it unless u have alot of time to waste and you aren't in great need of money because you will be disappointed.

I have been answering surveys for one year now and have yet to see one red cent. I would suggest you go to a web site such as workathomemoms.com, workathomedesk.com, if you want to look up some of the more legitimate job offers out there - they prescreen all sites before they post them. There are many on line jobs available but don't fall for the survey stuff. I have gotten many free samples through the mail but that has been the extent of my "reward" for all the time spent on line.
