Hey, I just got done reading "Gerald's Game". It was really good! idk, there were a lot of fav parts - like when I (not her, but ME) realized that she was locked to the bed with no way to get out ... and when you find out what her dad did to her ... and when the dog eats her hubby, EW! And when she FINALLY gets free and then sees him in the mirror ... *shivers* I can't say it was my FAV Stephen King book but it was definitely one of my favorites! :]

What about you? Did you like it?

I have to say, I did not like Gerald's Game one bit. I'm a huge Stephen King fan and have every one of his books. And yet, I cannot recall a single moment from Gerald's Game at all.

My favorite SK novels are The Stand, and Carrie. My favorite short stories are The Mist, The Langoliers, and The Jaunt.

My favorite SK movie adaptations are The Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, and The Stand mini series.

Until Liseys Story I read every King novel as soon as it came out.
Geralds Game was okay, but unfortunatly I've felt that the later books weren't as good as the early ones.

My favourite King? Carrie.

But if I had to recommend one as a starter: Eyes of the Dragon. Something for everyone.

I read it a few years ago. It was kind of hard to get into but once you get past the point where Gerald has his "incident" (don't want to ruin it for those who have not read it) it picks up and gets more interesting.

My favorite part was when the dog kept appeared.

My favorite S.K. novels are the Dark Tower Series, hands down!!!! They were phenomenal.

I liked it. It gave me nightmares, though. My favorite part was when she kicked her hubby and killed him. The jerk. My favorite novel? Hard to say, but I think I liked The Eyes of the Dragon best. (published in 1987)

that was a really good book! best part was in the beginning when she was tied up and looked in her husbands eyes and realized it really wasnt him. You should get Steven Kings Half Past Midnight. it has 4 short stories that are really good.
