I am a little conflicted about some thing. I have a problem with the way my city has allowed a black chamber to convey with out questions as to how much would this offend other races. I’m not racists I don’t think, but I would like to know if I wanted to start a Brown Chamber would they let me? And how about a White Chamber? Is that okay? And if we did would it be looked at as some sort of attack on the Black Chamber? Would I have to carry a gun? I want to know why there has to be a Moreno Valley Black Chamber?

There is probably a Moreno Valley Black Chamber to focus on Black issues. As much as you all hate to admit, we are *not* considered equal in the eyes of government. You may continue to ignore, deny, go on with your life, "racism and discrimination does not exist, blah blah blah"...whatever!...but if this Black Chamber has any kind of effect on you then I'd suggest you start complaining. I seriously doubt it will have anything to do with you.

I don't understand you people. You complain about Blacks not taking responsibility and then you get mad at the various organizations. Wth do you want Blacks to do!? Please, just entertain me for one freaking minute. Meanwhile, if you feel a Brown Chamber is needed then create one and hush.

Did the Black Chamber say non-Blacks could not be involved? That's another thing, you people always jump to mf'n conclusions. Stfu or grow up!

Lady : You need a reality check! I can't believe you had the audacity to compare Ebony magazine to those other White magazines (ex: Elle). A lot of those magazines do *not* cater to other groups...not even Indian, Spanish, Asian, etc.

Rudkin (sp?): If you started a White Chamber that is one thing and nothing to be up in arms about, but if you started a White Chamber to purposely discriminate and try and control groups of people not of your color...then that would be racism. Lets be serious, I don't think a lot of Blacks give a damn about what you Whites do unless it affects them.

No, if you decided to start a White Chamber of Commerce you would be accused of being a racist and those non-Whites who never joined before, would want to join then. Further, these people don't realize how divisive this is.

oookay most of the ppl who form those groups do no speak or represent all black ppl any way
goodness I'm getting so sick of this...Lady mary do u know why there's a Ebony Mag. in the first place? back in the olden days blacks weren't shown in main stream mags b/c american society didn't see black ppl as beautiful and they didn't cater to black ppl, so they came up with their own...oh yeah another thing the united ***** college fund...that started b/c most colleges didn't allow black ppl to go to their school so the black community started raising money to build their own school which are called hbcu (historical black college university)...ppl need to learn how to read a f-ing history book before they start throwing "oh its unfair" comments out there...how do u think black ppl back in those days felt...goodness
