You may well be suffering from normal morning sickness which usually dies down at around 4 months. There is however a more serious condition called Hyperemesis Gravadium. This is when you are constantly sick and it can last the duration of the pregnancy.(It did for me). This is potentially dangerous as the body can go into ketosis and the baby wont receive any nourishment. You need to keep your doctor and midwife up to date with your progress.
If you do get diagnosed with Hyperemesids Gravadium you may well be hospitalised on a drip for a few days.
There are lots of ideas as to what stops the sickness... I'm sorry to say none worked for me!!:
Eat little and often
Drink little and often
Stem ginger or stem ginger biscuits
Travel wrist bands
Accupuncture
Make sure you don't over do things, and if you are working , explain how you are suffering to your manager and to HR. The 1st stage of pregnancy is tiring enough without severe sickness.
I hope you don't suffer for too long.... but do keep the medical profession updated.
Good Luck xx

It's normal - it should ease off soon.
Try eating a dry biscuit or ginger biscuit before you get up in the morning, or some banana (easy to digest). Low blood sugar makes you feel much worse which is probably why the sickness is worse in the morning and night.
Eat little and often, keep something plain/sweet by your bed to eat and look forward to feeling better soon.
good luck.

Ah, yeah, you've never heard of morning sickness? It's very normal. Try getting some crystalized ginger to ease your stomach.

Yes, this is very, very normal and should start to wear off after 12 weeks. Ginger is supposed to help e.g. ginger biscuits, ginger tea.

I'm so sorry, but it is normal. It's great that your eating although you feel like crap. I was so sick for the first two trimesters that my doc prescribed me phenergan. It makes you really sleepy, but it also controls the nausea and vomiting so you feel somewhat normal again. :)

go see your doctor. If you have extreme nausea/vomiting the doc may suggest anti-nausea medication. However My doc said that the medication is NOT tested on pregnant women in the UK though - i dont know if things are different where you are
