I am a Sox fan and I am impressed by the Rockies, Coach Hurdle, and their fans.
I really think that Rockies got out of synch with that 8 day lay off. They are a very young team and I also think they got rattled walking out on the 'big stage' The went out and faced the Sox who had gotten hot and had to face Josh Beckett who will probably win the AL Cy Young.
Game on 1st inning, Beckett strikes out the side and then Pedroia hits the 2nd pitch about 400 ft for a home run. I don't they ever fully go on track.
The Rockies have a bright future and yes, I am impressed.

I still am. I was able to see a lot the Rockies young players at the double A level & it was obvious that they had a lot of talent. Clint Hurdle did a excellent job bringing that same group of players to the bigs & integrating them seamlessly into the team. The sweep wasn't good for sure, but winning 21 of 22 is impressive at any level under any circumstances. If they can keep their core group of youngsters together & make some wise acquisitions, they have a good future ahead of them.

They had a wonderful season no matter the outcome of the world series and no one can take that away from them. Boston even said last night that they beat a very good team. They are still a very young team and I look forward to what they can do next year!

The Rockies have a lot to be proud of as it's hard enought to make it to the Series much less win it a against a team like the Red Sox who are loaded. What they done particularly at the end of the season was amazing to all baseball fans.

Of course I'm still impressed by my Rockies. It was a bummer that they got swept out of the WS, but they never gave up...and neither did I. I was still the optimist throughout the entire postseason and I'm still optimistic about next year. Next year looks to be a great year for them! Keep moving forward, Rockies!!!

Sorry but there was NOTHING to be impressed about. The
NL is a complete joke. 21 out of 22? If they were any good they would have won them all. As soon as they faced decent pitching they folded. I think any AL team would have won that series. Including the Rays and Royals.

I think it was too bad they had to wait so long to start the World Series. I think that layoff killed all the momentum they had. After getting punched in the mouth in game 1 there was no way they would come back. But a great season for them.

Not impressed with them. However, I'm impressed with their run they made to get to the world series. The best team won.
Cleveland, NY, even Toronto are all better teams then Colorado.

I'm not impressed by ANY National League team. They constantly lose to the American League during interleague play, all-star games, world series.
