I did! I had so much fun! I loved playing capture the flag and roasting marshmallows! By the way, roasting marshmallows is not a game! It was just a snack!

my mom sent me off to summer camp a few yrs in a row, it was pretty fun, we did archery and shot guns and did horseback riding and learned how to water ski, stuff like that, plus no parent for like 4 weeks, it was fun
and i was on the swim team at our ymca for a couple of summers too, plus i was a girl scout, took gymnastics and tap and ballet, i was a busy girl

Camp Hi-Sierra through Troop 480, Polaris District of the Santa Clara County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
I attended the summers of 1976-1981, and was staff the last year. The camp still exists and is in operation... in fact it is only about 50 miles from my lil brother's ranch in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
We went by for a visit this last summer.

yes i do remember going to the YMCA. Bringing bologna sandwhiches and cookies. Yumm...The counselors got on my nerves though. I liked bead time alot, where you could earn beads for exemplifying different character traits. Also DEVOTION TIME!!!

I was in the cub and boyscouts.. and I use to camp with my grandparents.. but in my early 20's I was a camp counselor and it was cool.

No but I wanted to soo bad. I know my kids will even if I have to sell my comp. to send them! That's just how bad I want them to go! lol
