Next semester I'm going to take it, but I would like to be familiar with it to get the best possible grade.

The best book you can get for self study is the Schaums Outline book on calculus. Many many solved problems. Soft cover, not expensive. You can probably find a used one if you like. Go here:

You can underpin Calculus by practising trigonometry or the Binomial Theorem or the Concept of Limit depending upon the
level that you wish to attain to.
It's a good idea to become familiar with indices e.g.
that you know that a root is a fractional power so,
2^1/2 is the square root of 2. Learn the laws of indices.
