Well, if I had a cat, I'd let her decide which she preferred. I suppose I sometimes would wash her, other times let her lick herself clean but of course I would have to give her the sniff test just to make sure she got clean. The only thing would be if the cat had just eaten, then licking herself might leave a tuna smell.

But alas, I only have a dog, that I have to wash myself.....

Why yes I do..
I rub it and then it gets a little wet and sticky and has a sweet smell to her..
before I bathe her I give her a good trim and shave and a shape up. I give her a bath and wash her good 3xs and then I rinse her off and I towel dry her.
wanna take a look see you are more than welcome to take and even lick I mean look at her..
Can I wash your kitty. ;P

Both of my cats get a bath in the sink every Sunday. I like to keep them smelling good, and my long haired kitty fluffy.

No, my Kitty will bite you! I would need a bomb squad suit just to get Kitty into a bath. Kitty doesn't like getting wet and smelly.

My cats are indoor and outdoor cats so they get baths every 2-3 months.

Kitties don't need bathing except when they fall into a mud puddle and everybody goes "Awwwwwww"

no, i do not bathe my cat. I just let it clean itself. I couldn't imagine what it would do to me if I tried to put it under runnning water. there is no telling what parts of my body would be missing.

I only have bathed cats when they have been flea infested. I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to bathe cats as it removes natural oils from their fur.
