- the last 2 are for the young kids. we have a lot of them in my neighborhood.

At publix or other super markets they seel variaty packs were theres a variaty of stuff the kids can choose from. Some of the chocolate packs kids seem to like the best but the smarties and jaw breakers are O.K if theres nothing else. HEy its candy what could be bad?

We give out the chocolate mini candy bars. Snickers, Milky Ways, Mr. Good Bars. Things like that.
I know that when I was a kid, those were my favorite ones to get. I liked those better than the suckers that I would get.

I have assorted candies and I don't mean the bogus non-good ones. I was a kid once and we always hated the bogus dumb candies. I also have a wheel that each child spins at my door. They can win double candy, $0.25, $0.50, $1.00, or a grand prize of $5.00. This has been the big hit at my place for a few years now.

I try to get good stuff, not the cheaper kinds. I know when I was little we always knew where the "good house" was for candy. I'd like to be on that list!!

Snickers, candy corn, caramel apple suckers, tootsie rolls, bubble gum, blow pops, tootsie pops, ring pops, reese's pieces, pop rocks, lik a maids, gold medallions and to the kids I know, they get hand made treats-- candy apples, caramel apples, cookies, cup cakes and I try to make a cake graveyard and have the kids help decorate it and we try to make popcorn balls and rice krispy treats.

The ones you mentioned are Great treats! My favourite is Reece cups and I like milk duds .I suggest a bag of all sorted goodies,I also Like Popcorn balls!
