The ATi X1650 is good and available for under $70, both AGP and PCI-Express models.
nVidia's 7900GS is also a strong performer, but a little more expensive.
If you're looking for DirectX 10 support, get the ATi 2600XT. It's under $100 and uses the PCI-Express interface of your PC.

It would help if we know how much you want to spend and the type if interface you got. We'll assume you got PCI-E bus and you wan to spend about $150. So I'd go with a 8600GT 512MB for $155 or so or if you like ATI 2600XT 512 for $145 or so. Check out this link: http://www.ewiz.com/query.php?dp=7&categry=634&dt=&ob=a&nl=20&anchor=#displaytop

Checkout---Pricewatch.com---best prices and selection I have found. Find out first if your pc uses AGP, PCI, or PCI express. Buy one with 256 or 512 MB video ram, that should handle most games.

depends whether you want AGP or PCI-e, what your PC can handle, and how much is 'cheap'. try ebuyer.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk, and have a look at http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/graphics-cards-money,review-29659.html for some good advice.
