I am doing this project for a class and i need to compare a god or goddess to someone famous today. I want to do it on aphrodite but i dont know who to compare her to. If you dont know do you have any other suggestions?

I think a better idea would be a comparison of Zeus to God...or Hercules to Jesus.
God and Jesus are famous...they all have one major thing in common.
They're all myths.

The best embodiment of Aphrodite in modern times was Marilyn Monroe.
If it has to be someone living, Angelina is a good choice because actually marries her lovers. Aphrodite is Goddess of romantic love - the god of lust/debauchery with women would be Bacchus / Dionysus. It's important to distinguish Aphrodite from Eros, who represented lust specifically between men, and Hera who blesses marriages.

Aphrodite was the Greek goddess of love. We don't have human gods or goddesses in this day & age.

I think Paris, although in this day and age is considered a "ahem" but if she were a goddess then her ideas of love and sex and beauty work well with Aphrodite.
I think Angelina is better as Diana, goddess of the hunt.

Aphrodite was the goddess of lust and sex. She would habitually steal men away from their mates, and always chased after the best looking men. Anyway who gazed upon her was filled with lust for her. I think Angelina Jolie would be a good comparison.

I would kin of say Paris Hilton, but she just compares a bit, Aphrodite was not a whore. Maybe Hillary Duff. som cute girl that looks innocent, and surrounds and is surounded by love.
she might be young but Dakota Fanning might be one.
