I am asking because my boyfriend wants me to watch it tonight and I was wondering what you guys thought of it?

It is a "must see" movie. Of course it is incredibly sad; but it will make you grateful for the life you have. Whenever I start to feel sorry for myself I watch Schindlers List. It always put things back into perspective for me.

It's long and very emotional. There's a lot of parts that might make a weak stomach squirm (lots of brutality, abuse and hatred) but then again it is a movie about the Holocaust. So just prepare yourself. If you do like it, I'd also recommend the pianist.

It was really good. My dad asked me to watch it last time I visited him and at first I wasn't sure if I'd like it because I'd heard it was sad but I was very glad I watched it. It's a story that needs to be told.

Highly recommend it! It's a part of history that everyone should know about. It's a horrible part of history, but a part of history nontheless. Everything about it was top-notch. One of your other Answerers recommended "The Pianist" and I would recommend that one also. Like "Schlindler's List", it is also a horrible part of history, but an incredible movie. I really like movies taken from history.

Long and depressing. But it is a very good movie. i would say great. Its about the holocaust, the most realistic version of this time i have ever seen. its in black and white if you don't mind that. it really is one of the greatest movies i have ever seen.

I watched i t in 1995 I remember as it was the night before my 4th daughter was born. Great film very moving.

I haven't seen it, but I'm a violinist and my current solo is from that movie's soundtrack. It's such an amazing piece, it is very sad. All of the soundtrack is, actually. Very well done.

Very good movie drame/ documemt about jewish lives being saved from the german death camps of WW2 by a brave German man..

It's very sad, but it's a great movie. Very educational. Not boring.
