Dude All i got to say is thank goodness baseball is over, I missed The Simpsons and Family Guy because of the World Series. Baseball is so boring to watch, pretty fun to play, but again very boring. The only reason I think people go to games is to get drunk, and the tickets are cheap compared to a NFL game. I am so glad baseball is over, I hope they go on strike like hockey did one season, that was real nice. Also I hope soccer goes on strike too, I know soccer is the most famous sport in the world, but thats because all you need is a ball, alot of countries are broke, they can't afford all that gear, so thats why it's popular. Anyways,an other reason i'm mad is because they didn't have a Sunday Night Football game as well on, just because of the World Series. Trust me, i'm pretty sure alot of people would have watched football instead of the Red Sox sweeping the sorry Rockies. Thats just my opinion, please tell me I have people siding with me????

I mean, shouldn't you be like in a retirement home, or playing with your grand children. I love football and i was disappointed to see that there was no sunday night game but to say that baseball is boring isnt right. It is a great sport, full of tiny details that are essential to every pitch, every play of the game. I was disappointed that the WS was such a one sided battle but I love every aspect of baseball, its not boring if you are aware of, and fully understand the game. That being said, its time to concentrate on the second half of the NFL season....GO BEARS!!!!

While everyone's entitled to a WRONG opinion, I'm still suffering withdrawl symptoms a month after the season ended.
Kind of wish I had the NHL package to get me through the long winter until Spring Training, but I guess I'll manage.

I hate baseball for one reason.
Out of all the 4 major sports in the US, baseball is the only one where you can play and still gain weight and be outta shape.
See: Curt Shilling, David Wells, among many others
Football players condition and practice so much, they lose any excess body fat (xcept for OL and DL)
Basketball and hockey, there is constant motion and running/skating from one end to the other.
Baseball is America's pasttime? Yea right, more like Sleeping Pill.

I'm glad the Red Sox got it over with nice and quickly. If it came back to Boston game 6 would have been on Halloween night. No thanks.
