Small fireworks like poppers and little smoke bombs aren't dangerous. But you'd be surprised at the damage a small explosive firework thought to be safe can do to a child or an animal. Big fireworks are always dangerous.

Of course fireworks are dangerous. They contain enough explosive to do lethal damage. Only adults should be in charge of these dangerous items. We in England are getting more and more accustomed to frequenting displays in parks and sporting venues and the like, with a paid admission. You do not PLAY withn fireworks, dont you think the fire and ambulance services have enough to do?

Yes they are (I'm missing half a finger).

Fire, possibility of explosion or flagration rather than normal burn.

NO ONE should play with them. In fact here in California, they are for the MOST part ILLEGAL.

The fact that they explode and shoot out fire makes them pretty dangerous.
