I want to know if you look down on people that like to get high. Do you think it is a "loserish" thing to do? OR is not that bad. I have been smoking for 2 years and I love it. I am nervous most of the time and it takes the edge off. I know that I could do other things to take the "edge" off but weed really makes me feel better. And yes I smoke anywhere between 2 and 4 blunts a day. I have a full time job and pay my rent and bills.

its killing ur brain skills, and worse who u are, or atleast it will at one point, quit while u can, or u will regret, find something else tht gives u pleasure, but not as stupid as smoking weed. Smoking cigrettes is different, but weed is a whole new level. Im not saying smoke ciggs instead of weed, but if you think tht are too addicted then i guess u can take one step at a time and move on to ciggs, but trust me, smoking is poison, it eats u aways slowly, i know wat im talkin about. Good luck and find something else to take stress off, not kill ur brain cells so tht ur brain cant process, which allows u to be stress free, now tht tells u something, its u urself giving urself stress, its the way u think tht gives u stress, always think positive but at the same time be aware, good luck, the journey may be long, but thts up to u to decide. Take Care

I wouldn't say I "look down" on people who smoke pot, but I must admit I look at them differently.

I'm in a band and a couple of the guys in it smoke pot, and we just have an unspoken agreement that they don't smoke it during a show (we do a lot of charity stuff, so it's already kind of innapropriate for them to get high during those anyway) and I don't bug them about it when they smoke it at home.

I kind of look at it as a sort of waste of time more than anything. I can't stand the smell, so I stay away from it and just have a beer instead.

But that's just me.

It's great that you have a job and pay your bills, but no matter what people are going to look down on you when you make the choice to smoke weed. Enjoy life, it's good enough without the high.

It is extremely hypocritical for someone who drinks alcohol to look down on someone who smokes weed. I would disagree with your statement that they both have the same effect on people though - alcohol makes people belligerent and considerably more dangerous than weed. I dubbed it 'the liquid courage' due to the number of drunk idiots I've had try to start fights with me. I've never once had someone hit the bong and then threaten to kick my a**. (edit: I'd like to see where dude got his statistics about the 20x more cancer causing blah blah than cigarettes from - I think he (or whoever he got it from) pulled that statistic out of their a** - probably while drunk)

People do.

A full year, Wes? You can get it out of your system in about an hour if you want. Two months tops if you do nothing to help it along.

I think everybody should smoke. The people that think that it is "loserish" are the same people that are getting drunk and hoppin in their car and drivin or goin home and beating their kids. alcohol = bad chronic = good

are you kidding? I put those people on a pedestal cuz I kno I will get along with them. they also tend to be a lot more open minded and chill.

however, I dont like people who rock "420" stickers and say "420 everyday" shiit like that. those people are really just stupid and immature.

i want to lock up people who get high in solitary confinement in a padded room for 1 year. after which, it should be out of there system, and if they do it again, then right back in they go.

Not really.

I mean, it's their choice. Who are we to make the decisions for them?
