What's annoying, is that it isn't he Federal GOVERNMENT per se... but the ELECTED members who make up the Congress, and the appointed members of the Administration.
MOST of the ACTUAL Government is made up of hard working and underpaid federal employees (FBI, HUD, State, DoD, Interior, INS, Customs, etc) who do the best they can.
WHY does it seem so divisive... because the political parties have become nothing more than cash-generating machines seeking not to do WORK, but to get elected, re-elected, hand out platitudes to the masses and plum-jobs to campaign contributors and friends.
AMAZING that the FDA handed out $50K annual bonuses to certain high-ranking officials... when the damned Administration can't seem to do their JOB.
Let the Revolution BEGIN !!

It is devisive to make it appear as if the donkeys and the elephants are really arbitrating over the principal issues in government.
We know; that the US Congress is not doing it's job of representing the people. One of the major influences in policy making is the "American Israel, political action committee".
Israel gets billions of dollars in US Aid and secured loans.
The Israel lobbying groups control the congress and they bend to satisfy the best interests of "Israel" no one else.
Americans are being duped by lobbying groups of all kinds.
We lost control of our currency and our government with the installation of the private, illegal unconstitutional "Federal Reserve Board" in 1913AD.

A good question. I disagree with a lot of my neighbors but we never end up calling each other traitors, or a threat to each others' children and the country, etc. I guess it's primarily for show and the amount of power at stake.

Its like that with the UK government too. They act like schoolkids calling eachother names across the school yard.
And these are the people we trust to run our country?
