Today I have a Halloween Party to go to, but I don't know if I should wear my costume!! It's a devil, but I think it's kind of too sexy! She's very mormon so i'm scared that her mom would kick me out if I wear it! So should I wear it or not...?

You should definitely wear a costume. halloween is the only day of the year where you can dress up and be something you are not without anyone complaining about it! But, if her mom is somewhat of a mormon, then maybe if it's a short dress wear a pair of black trousers underneath to keep it still cute/scary, but be a bit more modest.

If the costume shows cleavage, simply wear a tank top under it. If it is too short...then put a pair of shorts underneath it. The best thing to do is call and ask your friend if her mother would be upset if you wore this costume. My concern is that she may be more offended that it is a devil than by it's sexiness...the sexiness of the costume can be toned down, but as a Christian, I have never allowed my kids to dress up in devil or witch costumes...super heros, angels, flapper girls, cowboys, indians, cowgirls...animals...etc. were fine. She may also have this view point.

Well, you should definitely dress in a costume. Why not make your devil costume a little less sexy? If it's a skirt, you could always throw on some red or black leggings. Maybe cover up your cleavage a little. All you have to do is just find ways to cover up a little bit. Good luck.

I'd call the other people invited and ask them what they are wearing. After all, I'd hate to be in costume if the rest of them aren't. But I'd hate for everyone else to have on great costumes and I modified mine to be ultra conservative.
Take a poll of the invited guests on this one. That way you'll be sure to not feel awkward.

Mormons aren't supersticious or crazy like that they won't like devils as a costume, but then again some won't like the scimpy outfit if you're under 18

You can't even have tea or coffee. It sounds like it's going to be a laugh-a-minute.
If I were you I'd just jib it and go to the pub instead.

Hmm, I think you should post a pic of you wearing it so we can see just how "sexy" you mean ;) LOL, if in doubt, then go with something more modest, there isnt much point in offending your friends mother.
