I think it is ok to disagree with certain policies and administrations.

However, it is very rude to constantly slam the country in which you live.

If you are not happy here, then move!

Libs are funny...LOL

You have it all wrong. Most Americans think their government is on the wrong track. The Bush adiminstation is NOT the United States. Its not just liberals ( curse that hated word ! ) that feel its time for a reckoning with the Bush Administration. Republicans at all levels of society are feeling the same way. One can take a weasel and drape an American Flag over its shoulders and its still a weasel.
Again the U*S*A* is NOT the current administration in power. I support and defend the Republic and the Constitution. I can't say anything good about our political current leadership.

The libs talk down America because they don't hold it's current values in very high regard.
The plan is to subliminally influence everyone that to accept those values is some how dumb and not hip.
To be an American patriot is to be looked down upon. You are not enlightened or educated and must be shouted down.
You are dumb so then patriotism must be dumb so you must now be willing to change the values you hold dear because you have been wrong all this time and the liberal community will set you straight. If you resist you will be embarrassed.

It's the modus tollens argument. They say they are right to deny it then it must not exist.

Anyone who likes the way he lives is a dork.
Anyone who is not working to change for the sake of change is unenlightened.
Anyone with the courage of his conviction is a narrow minded, rigid automaton.

What they don't realize is that, even if they were successful, the cycle will repeat itself.

Could you eleborate a little bit? I'm just a little confused because I'm not sure what you mean when you say that libs "talk down" the USA. I have heard some criticism towards some of the poor decisions made by some of our leaders, but not the country itself.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt.

Can libs really not think of any examples of this? How about Jane Fonda back in the 60's? How about the Dixie Chicks in the 00's? How about Sean Penn, Madonna, and every other liberal *** that flies their sorry butts over to England to talk about how the U.S.A. sucks? The only thing worse than liberals' politics is their short memories.

Seems to me you make it "fashionable" (in your own mind, that is) to denigrate an entire segment of the US - i.e. "libs"...

The irony of such ignorance, as identified here is truly astounding.

Fashion "is" as media "does."

Without it the doorknobs wouldn't get a second of airtime to spout their crud.

They haven't. What has become fashionable is mouths on the right lying about their fellow Americans on the left.
