I was recently exchanging e-mails with a someone and we were arguing about Tom Brady. He couldn't come up with something substantial to actually really not like the guy about... so he took a personal shot at the guy calling him "irresponsible" and "a bad father"... he then proceeded to block me so that I wouldn't be able to give him any possible facts that might prove that case wrong. Well... here it is, Tom Brady was there for the birth of his child, he personally asked for time to be there for that... he is in constant contact with the mother checking in and has worked out a custody agreement so that the child can spend the offseason with Brady when he isn't busy with football. Brett Favre has done the same thing with his kids for years, just he's married... do you think he is a bad father? If anyone has anything to say to this guy who said this about Brady his name is "bjeff72". Careful though... he's a testy one... and he might block you.

If people say he is a bad father, because he is always practicing and playing football, and not there for his child. Well that is his job...and that would be a direct slap in the face to all the fthers(soldiers) doing "THEIR JOBS" in Iraq. Anybody that is that low to say something as an excuse for being a bad father is should be smacked.

Wow why are you so obsessed about Tom Brady and what kind of Father he is. I don't really care myself, and never heard anyone else care about it before this question. That you study up on what these guys are doing is kinda pathetic if you ask me. Anyway I don't get bothered by it, but I wasn't aware of Brady claiming to be a great father either. Now the story of Leinhart I could see making an issue. When he was claiming he was around all the time and the mother came out and said he isn't. That I can see wondering what opinion people took. In this case there is no he said/she said, and I don't think anyone cares.

We're not there personally nor are we the people involved...

But from media outlets, he seems to be trying to be an active father figure. More power to him. Anyone (man or woman, girl or guy) who brings a child in this world should be responsible (in a perfect world).

What I can say though is this...right before they break up, she gets knocked up? What, all of a sudden they're not practicing "safe sex" or at least birth control?

As a woman, I can't stand women who manipulate ignorant guys (or naive ones in fact - stupid is another word too) to get pregnant. Now, we don't know if that's what happened but it crossed my mind. Remember, she's in her mid 30's and he's only his mid 20's.

On the other hand, he may have believed she was on birth control and decided to forgo the rubber. So his bad. Or his hormones got the best of him, they've been together for so long without incident that it was okay to have sex unprotected. He's half responsible.

This is only my speculation but men, let that be a lesson to you. When it comes to women, protect your juice.

he is not a bad father. Like you said, he was there for the birth of the kid and will always be there for the child. Just because the mother doesn't want to include Tom's last night into the child's name, that doesn't mean he is a bad father.

Bjeff72 blocked you because he is ignorant.

I think she tricked Tom into getting her pregnant, she's over the hill, having Tom as the father will insure money, fame, good genes. Tom needs to stay away from super models and find a girl who is totally dedicated to Tom and Tom's career. He's fighting with his current girlfriend because he doesn't spend enough time with her! He needs to dump her. Tom needs a girl who is willing so service him while he watches game films.

It doesn't bother me, I doubt it bothers him. Face it, all the people calling him that are just low life white trash as far as he is concerned. They split custody differently, but they live much different lives than most people and well the child is getting better care than any child of the person crying that Tom Brady is bad father.

he's doing the same thing, any working father does, who is on the road.. thank God for modern technology...

Do the same idiots who call Tom Brady a bad father, because his job keeps him away from his child, call the brave American soldiers, stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan and other stations through the world, bad fathers?

And... how many of these name calling, finger pointing, self rightous fools, are squeeky clean, pure as the driven snow.. I'd bet more than a few are behind in child support payments, and have multiple "baby mamas" .... How many who accuse others of "cheating", have never cheated at something, themselves.

As a sports fan, I only judge him by what he does on the football field. What he does in his personal life doesn't concern me as long as it doesn't affect the team.
