Well I do believe that in certain cases its ok to take it like people who have been raped and things of that nature. Other than that I don't see why people need the morning after pill. My take on it is people need to better protect themselves than relying on something like the morning after pill. Plus I believe that if you get pregnant there is a reason for it. I don't believe that things just happen. I believe in fate and destiny and that there is a reason for everything. That is just me though. If someone wants to use the morning after pill that is up to them who am I to judge?

I dont believe in abortion either . However I did take the morning after pill a few years ago when the condom broke . It wasnt like I was just being a careless skank and used it as birth control because that's not what it's for. I believe that they need to introduce a system that where you go to the pharmacy to get it without a prescription BUT they enter your drivers liscense info or a parents info to make sure you arent abusing the product. It's not birth control , its for " accidents " . such as the condom breaks, you forget to take your pill, or God forbid something horrible such as rape. However I would never take the mornin after pill again. I've never felt so sick and miserable in my entire life as I did taking those two pills.

It does end the baby's life, actually, IF fertilization occurs. The morning after pill/planB does NOT prevent the egg from being fertilized. It prevents the fertilized egg from implanting in your uterus. You really have no way of knowing whether the egg was fertilized or not. But if it was, taking the morning after pill is a method of abortion.
If you believe aborting a fetus is wrong, DO NOT take the morning after pill. It may result in an abortion, it may not (if you wouldn't have gotten pregnant anyway) but personally I wouldn't be willing to take the risk.

I've always asked myself that same question because I was reading when you are pregnant the actual day you concieve your allready considered 2 weeks pregnant which I don't really understand that either. So I mean after sex how long does it take for the sperm to reach the egg is it not always the same day? I read somewher sometimes it happens right away and sometimes it takes a few days.

With the morning after pill, you are preventing implantation, and most of the time, even conception in the first place. I think it's a good emergency measure, but shouldn't be relied upon as a birth control method.

I'm not...all it is, is the equivalent of taking (about) 12 birth control pills at once. The argument that it's already a baby doesn't convince me.

I'm not against it, I think it actually saved my butt one time in highschool! I wasn't ready to have a baby then and the condom did break inside of me. I didn't consider it to be anything yet, especially less than 24 hours of having sex!

I think it's a choice that is best left up to the woman and her doctor. Of all the people involved, they know best the risks and costs and benefits and other factors involved in a pregnancy and the procedure.

I guess I'm not really for it or against it, it totally depends on the situation.

I think it's a reason for girls to act like floozies, and not use protection. Which in turn can lead to disease.. Not to mention that it's careless, and stupid..
On the other hand the people that use it shouldn't have kids anyway..
